There was always this huge regret throughout my history of working on websites. I’d always move through phases; it starts off as a fun hobby, slowly it gets boring to the point where it feels like a chore, then work on it less and less until I stop completely. The phase will start again, but for some reason, I don’t pick up where I left off, I just start anew, losing all my previous work. Learning from my mistakes I picked up where I left off, but wish I had all that compiled work, even though most of it was pretty bad. Regardless, I have nothing to regret, since I’m starting a new, not by choice, as Globat (by far, the worst, most vile company ever) lost my last three years of work.

edit: I’ve recently learned about a website that is essentially a complete backup of the entire internet; uplifting, considering my situation. Although a few pictures and other things are missing here and there, the website is pretty extensive. At first thought, I was going to re-enter said posts on this website, giving it an appropriate entry date and edited a little, but most of the work is rather absurd (even for my standards). Here’s to a fresh start!

A brief history of what is now Treacheryisafoot.com:

Originally this had started out as a place for Aric and I to put our outrageous MS paint “artwork”, posting it on some silly tripod site. The whole concept of code was fascinating, I became engulfed then shortly after made my own crude tripod website, which for the most part still looks in tact. Since they were free, I made a bunch of other, but by the looks of it, they’ve long been put to rest. One of them I believe got shut down, because it was getting too much traffic from non-Google search engines, something to do with free nude celeb pics in the title…

Around 2000 I decided to go commercial and buy my own domain “Smackmybishop.com” thanks to my good friend Ben Efros, who is probably now wanted by the CIA for hacking something. He was nice enough to even supply me some free hosting from his work and teach me the ropes of the internet. When the time came to renew my domain, I had lost touch with Ben and couldn’t get the domain back since I didn’t know the last four digits of the credit card used, and it didn’t help that I wasn’t Ben Efros. Website-less I decided to be independent and gave birth to “Thefakemccoy.com”. I ended up losing that through no fault of my own, which I’ll tell you about another time. To fulfill my urge of having a creative outlet, “Treacheryisafoot.com” now exists. I’m not wild about the name, but I’m growing to love it. Think of this as the new and improved “Thefakemccoy.com”.

I realize my name would be good for a shoe shop, or surveillance equipment.
